When we developed the theory of Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare (HCL-HC) prior to the pandemic, we hoped it would resonate with nurses and offer a framework that honors the lived experience of all healthcare professionals. Our hopes have been fulfilled beyond our expectations. In fact, what began as a theory has since become a movement.
Today, HCL-HC is being implemented in healthcare organizations across the country. It’s being integrated into academic institutions. It’s driving measurable outcomes in quality, engagement, retention, professional growth, staff satisfaction, and patient experience. DNP students are grounding their scholarly projects in the theory, and international citations have reached approximately 35, affirming its relevance and global reach.
Now, we’re thrilled to announce a partnership that promises to take this incredible momentum to the next level. uLeadership® has been acquired by Healthcare Plus Solutions Group® (HPSG), co-founded by Quint Studer and Dan Collard. HPSG is widely respected for its commitment to elevating leadership across the healthcare continuum, and we’ve found deep alignment in our purpose and approach.
From the minute we started looking for an acquiring partner, HPSG was our first choice. We’ve known Quint and Dan for a long time. Based on our observations of their internal values—and the fact that they’ve always put people front and center—we were confident it was the perfect fit.
